In 2002, The Lookstein Center, together with David Gradel and the British Friends of Bar-Ilan University, launched an exciting new video conferencing project designed to connect British students with leading Israeli scholars. The project, which harnesses the most advanced video conferencing technology on the market, allows students from Jewish high schools in Britain to study with scholars who live in Israel.

The students from five British Jewish high schools (Hasmonean, King David, King Solomon, Immanuel College and JFS) participate in interactive lectures in their classrooms. The lectures are broadcasted live from the David Gradel Studio in the Lookstein Center at Bar-Ilan University, Israel. Each session is designed to supplement the students' matriculation studies with lectures by specialists in the field who provide them with the most up to date material and research. The sessions are an integral part of the schools' curriculum. Some of the speakers have included Professor Avraham Avraham of the Shaarei Tsedek Medical Center (Jewish medical ethics), Rabbi Daniel Landes of Pardes (post-Holocaust theology) and Dr. Jonathan Rynhold of Bar-Ilan University (Arab-Israeli Conflict).  Similar programs are also being run with schools in North America.
