Lookstein.org was
launched in 1998 to address two major needs in Jewish education:
the need of Jewish educators to engage in ongoing and substantive
reflection and discussion, and the need for access to quality curricular
and instructional materials. To this end, Lookstein.org has:
built
educational e-communities by offering forums for Jewish educators
to meet, discuss and share various viewpoints and resources
developed online resources and instructional materials for
Jewish schools
offered online opportunities for professional development and
enrichment
created support programs to aid Jewish schools wishing to integrate
technology in their curricula
Lookstein.org is supported by: The Avi Chai Foundation, New York, NY, Barry and Pamela Fingerhut, New York, NY, David and
Susan Goldsmith, Riverdale, New York, and Evelyn and Shmuel Katz, Bal Harbour,
