Development Manager

The Hebrew Academy of Nassau County (HANC), a dynamic, coeducational, Orthodox Yeshiva Day School in Long Island, NY, is seeking an experienced, innovative, and strategic development manager to join our team.

The Development Manager is responsible for building and executing the strategic development plan including overseeing our ongoing Capital Campaign and the Annual Campaign fund.

The Development Manager duties will include, but not be limited to:

Manage donor relationships.

Steward existing donors to increase overall retention and giving levels.
Identify and cultivate new donors.

Foster an understanding of philanthropy within the organization.

Manage relationships with the Board members and work with the Board Nominating Committee to identify and cultivate new Board members and volunteers and assist in their education and growth within the organization.

Work with the existing Board of Directors to increase their committee participation, giving and involvement with HANC fundraising efforts.

Develop and manage timelines for various fundraising activities to ensure strategic plans and critical fund-raising processes are carried out in a timely manner.

Annual HANC match giving campaign: Identify a date and match donors to run the campaign. Identify teams, marketing and all logistics for the event.

HANC Annual Dinner: Identify and engage donors, oversee the strategy and planning of the dinner.

Coordinate the design, printing and distribution of an annual report.

Manage relationships with the HANC Business Office.
