Katz Hillel Day School in Boca Raton Florida is looking for a dynamic and passionate educational leader to join our administration team as General Studies Principal for grades 4-8. Qualified candidates should exhibit a comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum, excellent interpersonal skills and prior leadership experience. Candidates should be growth-oriented and interested in evolving as a school leader. The position provides a unique opportunity for an innovative, knowledgeable and inspirational educator looking for the opportunity to be a leader in a vibrant and successful school.


Work closely with HOS and all principals to promote the school’s vision for educational excellence and uphold the school’s mission
Advanced degree in education
5-7 years experience as a classroom teacher
Ability to evaluate curriculum, instruction and teaching effectiveness
Experience in curriculum mapping and development
Strong oral and written communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills in order to build a positive rapport with students, faculty, and parents
Help implement a student discipline management system that results in positive student behavior
Help plan daily school activities by participating in the development of class schedules, teacher assignments, and extracurricular activity schedules
Participate in professional development opportunities as a lifelong learner
Recruit and retain talented faculty
Promote the use of technology in the teaching/learning process.
Strong classroom observation skills
