Coordinate or assist with development outreach efforts as determined by the Head of School and Development Director.
Assume responsibilities within the Development Department as directed by the Head of School and Development Director including but not limited to correspondence, donor data entry, and donor recognition;
Work closely with Development Director on major donor relationship program, including all aspects of building major donor cultivation, solicitation, recognition and stewardship program;
Assist with prospect research, and develop cultivation, stewardship and touch-point calendars;
Perform other duties to support the Development Director.
Create strategic communication and stewardship plan that disseminates case for investment in school
Create and manage the development communications calendar.
Prepare development press releases, with the approval of Development Director
Coordinate campaign and other communications and advertising as needed;
Create and distribute development email communications;
Oversee the development office’s presence on social networking sites.
Assist with creating and updating all printed materials;
Keep development page on website content current, and keep the appearance of the site user-friendly, professional and attractive.
In coordination with the Development Director, develop plan to connect with and reach expanded groups of donors, including new segments of donors;
Serve on new event committees;
Work closely with the Development Director on event planning, with focus on developing additional events to connect with new segments of donor prospects;
Prepare sponsorship and marketing materials for events;
Work at major events as assigned, which may include weekends and evenings;

Qualifications and job requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in business, non-profit management or related field such as communications, public relations or marketing.
Excellent verbal and written skills are mandatory, as well as organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to be self-motivated and disciplined.
