Abraham Joshua Heschel School is seeking full-time, experienced Early Childhood faculty in General Studies for the 2024-25 school year. Our faculty teaches in a professional, joyful Jewish educational environment. Teachers collaborate with colleagues to plan activities that are student-centered, experiential, and dynamic. Among the essential duties are supporting children’s social, emotional and academic growth and developing play-based curriculum that spans across content areas and integrates learning in meaningful ways. Responsibilities include preparing differentiated lessons for a range of learners, observing and assessing students, communicating goals and progress with families, and writing anecdotal reports. Applicants should have knowledge of an interdisciplinary curriculum and familiarity with dual-language programs. Excellent organizational and writing skills are required. Preference will be given to applicants with experience in Early Childhood settings and a BA/MA in Early Childhood Education or a related field.

The full-time equivalent salary range is $55,000 – $95,000, depending on years of experience.
