Internal Coach Training Program, By Hidden Sparks

  • November 27, 2018

Professional Development Opportunity:

Hidden Sparks is now accepting applications for its subsidized  Internal Coach Program, designed to train faculty members to be school-based experts and peer coaches on teaching to diverse learners.

Coaches receive training in using multiple lenses—neurodevelopmental, temperamental, ecological— to develop strategies for all learners, including those who struggle academically and present challenging social-emotional issues. The program includes on-site mentoring as coaches help teachers identify specific learning strategies for students that are struggling.

We are also offering specialized tracks for school leaders, administrators, and supervisors.

Training begins in February. For more information and for an application, go to or contact Sara Diament, Director of School Services at 212-767-7707/
