The Hebrew Academy of Miami is a Modern Orthodox school located in beautiful Miami Beach. We are a student-centered institution with customized learning programs that provide opportunities for students and faculty members to thrive.
We are looking for teachers who are knowledgeable, inspiring, and innovative to join our team for the 2024-2025 academic year. Our school is dedicated to providing a caring, Torah-centric environment that prioritizes the individual needs of our students. Responsibility:
*Develop and implement lessons that engage students in higher order thinking.
*Assess and evaluate student learning, provide constructive feedback to students and families, and adjust instruction as needed to maximize student
success.
*Develop a strong rapport with students and foster excellent classroom culture incorporating the use of fair and consistent standards.
*Create a stimulating and challenging learning environment with an emphasis on student learning.
*Provide a safe learning environment in which students freely take intellectual and creative risks and see failure as a critical part of the learning process.
*Create an environment that fosters a growth mindset and encourages students to set realistic goals and use their time in a constructive and balanced
manner.
*Attend faculty meetings, professional development opportunities, and other school events in support of school and community.

Qualifications:
*Applicants must have a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience as well as pedagogies specific to the teaching of English. Interested applicants must
possess a Bachelor’s degree in the related field.
