Judaic Studies Curriculum Coordinator – Elementary School

The North Shore Hebrew Academy (NSHA) is a co-educational Modern Orthodox Yeshiva that inspires students to become passionate learners, critical thinkers, problem solvers and dedicated community members.

Through expert instruction, collaboration and creativity we provide a premier General and Jewish education in a warm and nurturing environment, cultivating our students to be the best they can be academically and personally.
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic educator to join our Elementary Judaic Studies team as an Elementary Judaic Studies Coordinator. Responsibilities of the Judaic Studies Coordinator will include but may not be limited to:
building a curricular scope and sequence for Judaic Studies for grades 1-5
coaching and providing professional development to teachers
coordinating our Hebrew Learning Lab
tracking student progress in Judaic Studies
An ideal candidate will be passionate about teaching Judaic studies and inspiring students and teachers, alike.

Ideal Candidates will possess the following qualifications:
MA degree in Jewish education
A minimum of five years teaching as a head teacher in an elementary school setting
Hebrew fluency required
A teaching philosophy that focuses on growth in academic, social and emotional domains
A collaborative, teamwork-oriented approach
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
