The School:
Kohelet Yeshiva is a warm, vibrant, and growing Modern Orthodox K-12 yeshiva day school in suburban Philadelphia committed to cultivating Bnei and Bnot Torah who think critically and creatively while exuding confidence and compassion.

The Position:
The High School Principal will be responsible for the daily operation of the school’s high school division. He or she will embody, articulate, and reflect the school’s values and mission inside and outside of school, as articulated in its Mission Statement, and will work collaboratively with the K-8 Principal to ensure that school’s K-12 vision is carried out. The High School Principal will lead the high school administrative team, consisting of the Directors of General and Judaic Studies as well as the Dean of Students, in a collaborative and collegial fashion. Together, they will be responsible for identifying, crafting and carrying out the high school’s educational priorities and initiatives. The High School Principal will act as a catalyst for strengthening the school’s warm and embracing atmosphere while ensuring that highest academic standards in both Judaic and General Studies are met. He or she will work with the Directors of General and Judaic Studies to foster a culture of collaboration and growth amongst the high school faculty while serving as a role model, guide, and a source of inspiration to the school’s high school students as they develop into “Bnei and Bnot Torah who think critically and creatively while exuding confidence and compassion.”

Qualifications:
Demonstrate a deep understanding of and passionate commitment to Modern Orthodox Yeshiva High School education
Have a proven track record of successful collaborative team building, organizational management, and inspiring leadership
Have a proven track record of outstanding classroom teaching
Demonstrate the ability to connect deeply with students, faculty, and parents
Demonstrate the flexibility necessary to lead a growing institution in a growing community
Prior experience as a school Principal or Assistant Principal
Have a Masters or Doctorate in Education or or a related a related field

Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience.
