Ben Porat Yosef,a growing Orthodox Day School in Paramus,NJ servicing students in grades Toddler-8, is seeking a hard-working, creative, and intuitive full-time Student Activities/Administrative Coordinator with strong organizational, interpersonal and communications skills. The primary role of the Student Activities Coordinator is to manage & implement BPY’s co-curricular & extracurricular programs, events & activities and support the functions of the General and Judaic Studies Principals. This position will work collaboratively with the administrative team, lay leadership, educational staff, students, parents & volunteers to develop, produce and implement, as well as lead BPY’s programs throughout the school year. This position requires a strong vision for the organization and its message.

Student Activities Coordinator:
*Create annual plan and calendar for all programs at BPY including but not limited to Middle School Electives, After School *Clubs/Clinics & Aftercare, division and school wide holiday programs and awareness weeks, chesed programs and drives, school trips, overnight trips, Bnot Sherut hospitality, graduation, picture day, milestone celebrations, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Programs including in-school celebrations, and plays.
*Coordinate, implement, and oversee all details of the events/program execution including hiring vendors, arranging transportation, purchasing supplies and food, hire caterers, set up and clean up.
*Track expense and keep a simple budget for each program.
*Create communications regarding the programs both internally and externally.
*Assist the development and admissions offices in the implementation and execution of their events.

Administrative Coordinator
*Manage and maintain calendar for General and Judaic Studies Principals
*Answer phones and ensure appropriate follow-up as needed
*General and Judaic Studies Project Support as needed

*Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail, and communications skills.
*Strong computer skills (Google, Microsoft)/
*Excellent professional judgment and ability to maintain confidential information.
*Team player with the ability to problem-solve independently and efficiently manage multiple assignments.
*Comfortable working with students.
