Hidden Sparks is offering a free webinar on the topic of Learning/Teaching Gemara- A Task Analysis, presented by Rabbi Avi Wasser, Director of Learning and Academic Support at Katz Yeshiva High School in Boca Raton, FL. Learning Gemara is a complex task involving many cognitive functions and academic skills. Lack of experience or a deficiency in any one of these functions or skills can make the experience of learning Gemara an overwhelming task for a student. In this workshop, educators will learn how to identify each of the demands inherent in a Gemara lesson and target instructional goals.
