This position offers the opportunity to assist in our school’s efforts to increase the partnership
between our school and community. Our school’s Development office strives to build thoughtful
engagement with our stakeholders including: students, parents, grandparents, alumni, alumni
parents, and partners within the community to optimize our fundraising efforts. The appropriate
candidate will seek ways to continuously engage, inform, and excite the school’s stakeholders
across various platforms. A successful candidate for this position will possess impeccable
organizational skills, be open to creating and engaging in new tasks, and have strong computer
skills. As the Development Associate you will assist the Development Director in creating and
delivering forward-thinking digital, print, and social media publications and relationship-building
strategies. We are seeking a highly-motivated and resourceful individual with astute attention to
detail who demonstrates flexibility in working within a team and confidence in working
independently coordinate Development events in consultation with Development Director including but not
limited to: registration, ordering or materials and working with committees
Assist Development Director in all areas related to fundraising efforts including but not limited
● Annual Campaign Oversight
● Event Coordination
● Endowment Planning
● Corporate Giving
● Grants/Foundation
● Donor Stewardship
Assist Development Director with:
● Related marketing, campaign, and PR materials
● Maintaining planful and regular communication with all stakeholders
Hours: This will be a salaried position, with hours as follows: 40 hours in the Fall/Spring and 30 hours in
the Summer. Some evenings and Sundays are required. Supervision Received: Close supervision is received from the Director of Development and Communications. Requirements and Minimum Education Level: Bachelor Degree and a minimum of 2 years of work experience in Development and/or office administration. Excellent written, technical writing and oral communication skills.
