Director of Student Services Ad

The JEC Lower School, a dynamic yeshiva day school in Elizabeth, NJ, is looking for a full time Director of Student Services for Primer-5th grade, who will lead a dedicated team of learning specialists and work together with faculty, administrators, and parents to guide, support, and foster individualized academic growth and success.

The Director of Student Services will
Oversee academic support for each of our students
Oversee regular benchmarking of student academic progress
Supervise learning specialists and support classroom teachers
Conduct classroom observations and monthly class progress meetings
Coordinate service and action plans with the Director of Guidance
Maintain communication with parents
Work with the Union County Educational Services Commission
Coordinate learning services from outside providers (e.g., OT’s, SLP’s, tutors etc.)

The ideal candidate is someone who is dedicated, a team player, and is passionate about differentiating for and supporting all learners.
Masters Degree in Education or a related field required.
