Principal, Boys Division, Gr. 2-8 for well-established Yeshiva in Rockland County, NY. Successful candidate will be seasoned leader who will join vibrant, thriving school led by experienced Menahel/Dean and assume responsibility for all aspects of Boys Division. Will partner with Dean and senior administrators towards the overall success of Yeshiva, which includes Early Childhood Program and Girls Division.
Responsibilities include:
1. Mentoring Rebbeim towards incorporation of best practices in teaching methodology and optimal dissemination of subject matter/skills

2. Training Rebbeim and teachers in educational programs/technology

3. Reviewing lesson plans to ensure curriculum is being taught, properly paced and appropriately differentiated

4. Observing and guiding Rebbeim in classroom management, above/below grade-level differentiation and parent communication

5. Monitoring student progress

6. Implementing, coordinating and maintaining student discipline standards supportive of an environment conducive to academic, social and religious growth

7. Establishing school procedures, together with other administrators

8. Grades 2-8 admissions, together with Dean and Assistant Principal of General Studies

9. Supervision of group activities, e.g. arrival/dismissal, Minyan, assemblies, special programs and trips

10. Monitoring General Studies progress through regular communication with Assistant Principal of General Studies

11. Strategizing with parents, teachers, therapists and administrators towards the establishment of behavior/learning plans for individual students

12. Monitoring coordination of school district student services, textbook and technology acquisition, resource room, IEPs, and ACHIEVE satellite clinic

13. Developing and implementing co-curricular and extra-curricular programs, interdisciplinary projects, journals and competitions, together with other administrators

14. Facilitating school-parent communication

15. Arrangement of professional development for Rebbeim and staff

16. Guiding substitute teachers

17. Interviewing potential staff; advising Dean on hiring

18. Working with the 8th Grade Rebbe, parents and administrators on mesivta/HS placement and tracking.
Qualifications: Semicha, Masters and minimum of three years administrative experience
