RPRY is the founding Orthodox Jewish day school in Middlesex County, NJ. RPRY is dedicated to providing its students with the best possible educational, social/emotional experience in a loving and accepting Torah atmosphere. RPRY provides a collegial, self-reflective and accepting environment, where teachers and students create a warm, inclusive school community. The middle school assistant principal will join our strong leadership team, working closely to build upon a strong cohesive environment.

We have identified the following priorities for our next Middle School Assistant Principal
-Provide leadership and direction for MS especially in the articulation and promotion of the RPRY mission and values
-Foster relationships with both students and parents to create a strong connection between the Yeshiva and the community. Engage students, faculty and parents with warm and regular communication about the school’s Jewish values, vision, programs, policies and events
-Serve as the go to for all MS discipline matters using a responsibility centered approach, coaching students to help them make good decisions and take responsibility for their actions
-Collaborate with the admin team on all matters of school (professional development, programming, and communication)
-Serve as the instructional leader for limudei Kodesh of the Middle School; identity and determine priorities /opportunities for growth
-Recruit, mentor and supervise Middle School Faculty and Upper Elementary Judaic teachers
-Partner with the Administration to oversee the high school application process
-Foster Ruach, a positive school culture that promotes a strong connection to Hashem and Torah&Mitzvot
-Serve as a visible presence and role model during the school day and at events

Qualities and Qualifications
-School leadership experience and experience in teaching, including expertise in best-practices for this age group
-Advanced Judaic Studies background. Semicha preferred
-A dynamic leader who is can motivate, inspire, and support faculty, students, staff
-A commitment to values-based education and building a diverse Jewish community that fosters a sense of belonging
-Warm, relationship-oriented leadership philosophy; outstanding communication and organizational skills
-Collaborative approach to leadership balanced with the ability to make decisions
-Advanced degree in Education or related field
