UPPER SCHOOL HISTORY TEACHER (2024-2025)

Berman Hebrew Academy is a Modern Orthodox Jewish Day School seeking dynamic educators for the 2024-2025 school year. We are seeking a passionate, creative and nurturing Upper School History Teacher for the 2024-2025 school year.

The ideal candidate has:

Bachelor’s degree in history or related field
Teaching certification and / or master’s degree strongly preferred.
Minimum 3 years high school classroom teaching experience
The ability to teach a variety of History & Social Studies topics and with a student population of varying ability levels is required.
The ideal candidate will have a desire to work with Upper School students in a supportive college-preparatory environment.
Candidates should possess basic computer literacy as well as strong interpersonal and written communication skills.
Interest in serving as Mock Trial coach, Model UN Advisor, or Advisory would be beneficial.
