Widely regarded as a leader in special education, SINAI operates 8 schools for individuals ages 5-21 with a wide range of learning and developmental disabilities as well as other special needs. SINAI’s Maor High School at Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School in Livingston, NJ, offers an academically rigorous program for high school students with academic and/or social challenges, including learning disabilities, Aspergers, and ADHD.  Students at SINAI Maor graduate with a high school diploma in four years, and are on a college track.

SINAI Maor High School is seeking a highly motivated Judaic studies teacher for the 2024-25 school year. The ideal candidate will have a Master of Special Education and bring a wealth of knowledge and experience with teens.

Responsibilities

  • Teach Jewish education subjects such as Chumash, Navi, Halacha, and Jewish history
  • Collaborate with co-educators and parents to best meet each individual student’s educational needs

Qualifications

  • Master of Special Education (preferred)
  • 3-5 years teaching experience, preferably within a special education setting
