Manhattan Day School (“MDS”) seeks qualified candidates for the position of Administrative Assistant. $50,000.00 – $70,000.00

Successful candidates will have strong organizational and time management skills; excellent oral and written communication; experience working in a supportive role, preferably in education; a Bachelor’s Degree; good judgment, patience, and flexibility; and a commitment to the confidentiality of student, parent and faculty information.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

· Preparing communications to be shared with community via email or via the MDS portal system (Blackbaud);

· Coordinating bus transportation through the DOE Office of Pupil Transportation;

· Communicating with faculty, staff, and parents;

· Supporting business office administrators

· Assisting in projects as needed

· Assisting with Arrivals and Dismissals

This position requires a solid knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and G Suite. Knowledge of Blackbaud, Canva, Adobe, Zoom and NPSIS are a plus
