Ben Porat Yosef in Paramus, NJ is hiring a Director of Programs and Activities for the 24-25 school year! BPY holds prestigious dual accreditation from The Middle States Association and the New Jersey Association of Indepedent School and educates students from age 2 through 8th grade.

The primary role of the Director of Programs and Activities is to manage & implement BPY’s co-curricular & extracurricular programs, events & activities to support the mission and vision of the General and Judaic Studies Principals. This position will work collaboratively with the administrative team, lay leadership, educational staff, students, parents & volunteers to develop, produce and implement, as well as lead BPY’s programs and activities throughout the school year. This position requires a strong vision for the organization and its message.

Director of Programs and Activities:
*Create annual plan and calendar for all programs at BPY including but not limited to Middle School Electives, After School Clubs/Clinics & Aftercare, division and school wide holiday programs and awareness weeks, chesed programs and drives, school trips, overnight trips, graduation, picture day, milestone celebrations, Bar/Bat Mitzvah Programs including in-school celebrations, and plays.
*Coordinate, implement, and oversee all details of the events/program execution including managing budgets, hiring vendors, arranging transportation, purchasing supplies and food, hire caterers, schedules, set up and break down
*Track expenses and keep a simple budget for each program.
*Create communications regarding the programs both internally and externally.
