Middle School Computer Teacher 2022/2023

Magen David Yeshivah is looking for Full-Time Computer Teacher for Grades 6-8 for the 2022-2023 school year at our Brooklyn school.

Our school is located in South Brooklyn. The school day runs from 8:00am – 4:45pm Monday – Thursday and 8:00am – 1:30pm on Fridays. The school year is consistent with the Jewish calendar and closed during the summer.

Position Summary:

In a classroom environment, Teachers will plan and supervise a warm, nurturing developmentally appropriate environment for the development of the whole child while practicing Magen David Yeshivah’s high level of care and educational standards.

Responsibilities:

Head Teacher will design and maintain a classroom environment that facilitates active, hands-on learning, group management, self-expression and choice, and inclusion of all children, parents, volunteers and staff.
Communicate with parents and school counselors on student progress.
Evaluate each student’s growth in knowledge and skills in the course being taught.
Qualifications:

Head teacher should have a Bachelor’s Degree.
Candidates with a Master’s degree and teaching experience will be given preference.
