This question is directed towards teachers who use the Tal Am program. It would be helpful to me if anyone who has information can share.
I have a dilemma about siddurim in grade 1. Our first grade students receive their siddurim in January and are expected to daven from them. We don't finish learning to read phonetically using Tal Am Ariot until the end of April.
What do you do in your school about davening and siddurim if you follow the Tal Am program? When do your first grade students receive siddurim and when do they know how to read the entire alphabet?
