The area of grading mechanisms and how they affect students' learning experiences and outcomes is one of our major initiatives at JEIC [www.jewishchallenge.org]. Please peruse the 'initiatives' tab on our website to find numerous articles about alternative grading and alternative feedback loops. In addition, JEIC is involved in helping create an arc of sessions addressing grades and grading at the Prizmah Conference in Atlanta this March. In our view, this topic is critical for assuring the best enduring Jewish education for students in Jewish day schools of all types across North America.
