This series is designed for teachers of 6-12th grades who may be teaching online, in the classroom, or both in the coming year. Participants may participate in individual sessions, but together the series forms a powerful tool for designing modular, highly engaging lessons that can easily be used in both environments.

Session 1 – Maximizing Direct Instruction

How can we maximize the impact of direct instruction (frontal teaching) in an online environment? What can we learn from the online experience that we can take back into the face-to-face classroom?
