1. Leah played a part in the deception of Yaakov. Did Yaakov hold this against her? Did she pay a price for that deception? Did Lavan ever pay a price for his role in the deception?

  2. Leah and Rahel name their children, and give them names which seemingly reflect their struggles with each other or the struggle for Yaakov's affection. What impact did this have on the children? Is it appropriate that part of the legacies parents leave for their children are the battles that they fought in their lifetimes? Would it be different if the battles were ideological rather than personal?
