Dear Teachers –
Your advice has helped much in the past. I turn to you again.
As part of our Beit Midrash program students are going to have an opportunity to learn about Israeli society through Israeli literature in an integrated Jewish History/Literature approach. We have some ideas for how to integrate but would love to hear from Hebrew teachers what books or short stories you have used to talk about the following topics:
- The Israeli response to the Shoah
- The immigrant experience in Israel 1943-now.
