I am a little surprised that no discussion has taken place on Lookjed about sexual abuse taking place in day schools. Aside from the well-known cases that were in the news several years ago, it is now apparent that - yet again - educators in positions of authority have taken advantage of their position to harm students and that their superiors continue to protect them -

What do schools do to ensure that predators do not find a safe haven for their activities in our schools?
What can the community of Jewish educators do to ensure that when such a predator does enter our schools, that they are dealt with appropriately and not protected?
