Gitty Rosenfeld asks what to do about late students? I would like to ask 'how late is excessively late', 'how often is often' and what responses did you get when the students or their parents were asked why they were turning up late and/or missing detention? Are there home issues you need to be factoring in? Transport factors? This may not just be as simple as it would seem at first glance. And are you sure that a detention for lateness is the best remedy? Clearly, it doesn't seem to be working too well to date.
With Pesach just around the corner, let's hope we will all be 'keeping Seder' - and on time.
