<HTML>The idea that the term EMUNA "is used correctly only with respect to
the deity" would seem to be contradicted by "VAYAAMINU BASHEM UV'MOSHE
AVDO," so the term is at least properly applied to prophets. It is
therefore reasonable to apply it to Chachamim who, like prophets,
endeavor to represent Hashem's will.
