<HTML>It is important to realize the tremendous emotional, intellectual,
psychological (etc.) strain the trip to concentration camps places on
young people. Do you really want to be "mebalbel lahem et hamoach" about
the history of Israel and especially the controversial and painful
episodes? It is not right to overload these kids. It is important to
realize the strain they will have experienced and really what they
will need is a sense of security and reassurance.
Show them the beauty of the land! Go with Tanach in hand to connect the
narratives they have studied, show them the flora and fauna of the
Tanach which is unfamiliar to the urban Northamerican.
