Dear Shalom and List:
In reference to the query on using Voicethread to review/reinforce, I agree that Voicethread is an amazing tool for this as I wrote in my recent Lookjed posting on "Spit Back" vs. Skills in assessment. Many teachers in my yeshiva, The Frisch School, use Voicethread regularly for chazarah activities in Gemara, Chumash, and Navi. I know that many Middle Schools use Voicethread as well.
I would recommend two blog postings that discuss the benefits of Voicethread and how to utilize it in the Judaic Studies classroom in greater detail. My good friend, Rabbi Aaron Ross from Yavneh Academy in Paramus posted on his blog about the "Wonder of Voicethread" here: [
jewishedd.blogspot.com]. I also posted in my blog about "Using Voicethread for Judaic Studies" here: [
techrav.blogspot.com].
For Mishna and Gemara, I would also highly recommend Gemara Berura which we also use at The Frisch School. In this program, students create text maps and flow charts to indicate their understanding of the Sugya. They even have a new Mishnayos Beruros tool which is very powerful. You can read my blog post on Gemara Berura here: [
techrav.blogspot.com] and learn more about the program at their website here: [

Behatzlacha!
