Dear Shalom,
I'm putting together a program about Shema, called "Six Words That Transformed a Nation" which I've started presenting to various audiences. One part of the presentation has me taking on the role of one of the soldiers saved by Roi Klein z'l at Bint Jbail when he jumped on the grenade and said Shema. I talk about Roi from this survivor's perspective.
Questions for the group:
a) does anyone know the names of some of the survivors of this attack, so I can use an authentic name?
b) can anyone put me in touch of a survivor, so I can interview them over the phone?
The timing is important, as I'm doing a presentation next Tuesday, Chanukah.
Thanks so much - chag Urim sameach,
Shlomo Horwitz
