Do schools include student input when evaluating teachers?
One of the things that made me think about this was a recent New York Times debate about whether or not rating college professors was appropriate - [
www.nytimes.com]?
The New York Times article discussed online ratings, which schools cannot really control (and there are "rate my teacher" sites that include Jewish schools, but I don't believe that day school students really participate that much). Is there value for schools to ask students about their teachers?
My thanks,
Alyssa
