Bringing kids to work

I'm curious if any schools have a written or expressed policy with regard to teachers bringing their children to work for the day, either because of child coverage need (i.e. "My babysitter was sick and I couldn't get alternate supervision") or pleasure (i.e. "My kid was off from his school today so I figured it would be fun to bring him to work").

One the one hand, accommodating teachers in these situations potentially contributes to a "warmer" and more "family-friendly" work environment. In addition, if the alternative is that that teacher would need to take the day off, having them come with their child may be pragmatically preferable. On the other hand, depending on the age of the child and the responsibilities of the teacher, it is not hard to imagine a teacher's primary focus on their students being pulled away both in ordinary situations and particularly if there was an emergency, i.e. a fire drill that day, due to their child's presence.

Any school policies or discussions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.
