Thank you so much for publishing this. As someone who had the great, great fortune to study with Nechama z”l for two years, 1990-92, as Jerusalem Fellow, I always enjoy such reflections. What I missed in this reflection and which perhaps, hopefully, comes through in the two bios mentioned here, was Nechama’s intense love of the Jewish people and the State of Israel. I vividly recall her wonderful “taxi/bus driver” stories, which peppered her shiurim. Having such a poor memory for stories (and jokes!), I honestly can’t recall many of them, and none of them in detail but they would add significantly to Nechama’s portrait. If such Nechama stories are not in the bios, perhaps her students with better memories than mine could begin to relate them to add to Nechama lore?
