We at Shefa/Steinsaltz will soon be starting to compile a one or two volume anthology culled from the Koren Talmud Bavli. I would love to get suggestions from you about which sugyot should be included.
The book is intended for a pretty general audience, so sugyas should have what you consider to be important theological or moral instruction for such an audience (this can include halachic sugyas that such an audience would be able to appreciate).
I realize that this is somewhat vague and subjective, but we're not going to know exactly who will read the book, so intuitions and educated guesses of educators are probably the best way to compile a list of sugyot.
Ideally, we'd like to hear from folks by Monday (tomorrow).
Thanks in advance for your help and input!
