As we look to ensure that female lemudi kodesh teachers receive the same benefits as their male counterparts, it is also important that public school districts compensate support staff that service our yeshivas with staff that are paid at the same rate as their public school support staff. Unless this occurs, yeshivot will be forced to employ staff that are not always at the comparable professional level. This inequity should be addressed as it exists in some school districts that service many prominent yeshivot and our students are NOT receiving the required support for their academic and emotional support.
