<HTML>I just saw the statistic about the population in Israel.
Does anyone know whether the Jewish population there now is for the first
time the largest in the world? If it is - I think it is something to be
noted.

[I don't know whether that is true, but demographers claim that in about
ten years the majority of world Jews will be in Israel. I wonder what is
going to happen to all of those Mitzvot HaTeluyot Ba'aretz that today are
only Rabbinic obligations, but will become Biblical obligations when "Rov
Yisrael Yoshvim Al Admatam (according to the Rambam, anyway). Shalom]</HTML>
