Successful adult education programming

<HTML>At our school, I've (re)started an outreach program that includes adult
education. The classes are meant to increase the knowledge base of our
families and to draw the community into the school. We also do community
type lectures and classes as well (particularly with Jewish Federation).
Within our school, I have a weekly class in Hilchot Kashrut (Shabbat
morning) and a weekly Mishnah class.

We also have pre-Holiday workshops and a monthly "Ask the Rabbi" with one
of our Rabbanim. Normally these classes get just a few people. But if
more people are learning Torah than would have before, it is worth our
time.

Interestingly enough, our biggest "sellers" have been the Intro. Hebrew
classes offered as part of NJOP's "Read Hebrew America" and its follow up.
Our RHA class had over 20 people, and was one of the largest in our area.
The class also had the widest audience of both within and outside of
school participants.
