With reference to Evelyn Katz' contribution: No-one suggested a Central
Board of Education, a phrase that was introduced by a contributor to a
discussion suggesting something very different. No-one else should
therefore feel they need to object to the idea, because it was never
suggested!

What the Greater Miami Hebrew Academy did sounds tremendous, but as Evelyn
Katz wrote,

"As educators, you all know the amount of time and manpower it takes to
coordinate such a worthwhile task". More, in fact, than any single school
should reasonably be expected to do, which is why, again, I think there is
a case for a North American Centre for Jewish High School Education -
where, among other facilities, the curriculum developed by the Lookstein
Centre and the GMHA would be readily accessible (for a fee, if necessary)
by other schools. Detailed proposal for the NACJHSE available by email on
request!
