Jewish sources relevant to internet use

I am helping a Jewish primary school set up its Acceptable Use and related
internet/computer use policies. I would like as much as possible to tie
the policies to pertinent quotations from talmudic/traditional Jewish
sources. For example, there are issues like not appropriating copyright
material from web sites, not using the school's system for inappropriate
purposes etc. If anyone on the list is familiar with Acceptable Use
policies and can suggest some good sources, I'd be grateful to know of
them.

There is also the issue of the debate in the Haredi community as to
whether internet use is acceptable at all, and I would be interested to
see suggestions about sources for or against internet use. The nearest
thing so far to a specifically Jewish take on these issues I have seen is
from Arlene Rinaldi of the Univ of Florida:
[www.fau.edu]. This is a "Ten Commandments"
of acceptable computer use, but I would prefer not to be offering children
alternatives to the originals...

I also think that educating children about ethical computer use is an
excellent opportunity for showing the value of Jewish sources as the basis
for good guidance.
