I am not familiar with the tenets of "Modern Orthodoxy" so, I am speaking out of turn regarding Rabbi Rackover's objections.
However - I don't understand how one can "be offended" at the Orthodox interpretation of Jewish Law.
I understand that one might want to disagree and state their belief that they have chosen to interpret halacha in a different manner than that of the gedolim of Israel. But - to take offense? Why?
I am impressed with the scope and the approbation of this new website - www.practicalhalacha.com and, I thank those who have brought it to my attention.
