In Chicago, there are seven public high schools that have Hebrew as a foreign language. There has been talk among some school administrators of using online in lieu of a live teacher. We believe the benefits of a quality teacher in the classroom outweigh the cost\saving benefits of relying only on line. I would like to know if there has been any research that has evaluated the benefits and costs of each in terms of foreign language learning generally and or Hebrew specifically.
Thank you in advance
