Dear Shalom,
I admit that I have not read every post on this topic, so I am unaware if anyone has posted my suggestion. Nevertheless, I'm going to make it anyway.
Why isn't making Aliyah and educating your children in Israel an option?
Now, this is not a frivolous statement and it is not an unrealistic statement.
My wife and I made Aliyah 33 years ago. We came with a fourth grader and a first grader. We subsequently were blessed with three more children. Every one of them was educated here in Israel. Every one of them graduated high school with Bagrut. They all speak Hebrew and English at mother-tongue level and read in both languages. Even more important is their values and religiosity and their deep commitment to Am Yisrael and Eretz Yisrael. They are all married and are busy producing the cutest bundles of Nachas and Berachah.
So, why not come? What are you waiting for? Along with the other innumerable reasons for coming, you will save tens of thousands of dollars a year in tuition, while your children can attend an excellent Torah school, without even considering the difficulties and problems of sending your children to American public schools.
So, come and put this whole discussion aside.
David
