In response to Debra’s request for a Middoth Based Discipline Policy, several ideas can be obtained from core values of the highly successful religious network of AMIT schools. AMIT runs a religious network of 110 schools in Israel with close to 30000+ students in 30+ schools with over a 100,000 alumni. Although 70% of these students come from poor and terrorized areas, they surpass the average Israeli student in the Bagruth pass rate. Amit alumni have also achieved prestigious positions in all parts of Israeli Society.

The Guide for the 110 Reshet schools may be accessed at [amitchildren.org] The core values that AMIT emphasizes are i)mutual respect, ii) tolerance, iii)Patience and iv) self-empowerment. These ideas are coupled with love of a) people, b) Torah, c) Mitzvoth, d) Israel (community and country). I believe these core values can suggest directions for what Debra wants.
