As Israel is central to so many aspects of Jewish education around the world, I am writing to find out what plans schools are making to commemorate and celebrate Israel's 70th birthday this coming school year.
We are considering Israel @ 70 to be our theme for the year and to weave it into all disciplines and subjects, Judaic and general and we would like to find out what other schools so students can internalize their connection with Israel and make it an integral part of their Jewish identity.
