IY"H another eighth grade class will be marching up to receive their
diplomas this year. With great difficulty I have kept myself awake through
the typical valedictory address of the commencement exercises the past few
years (this year I have been asked to sit on the podium and assist in
handing out the awards, so it might be embarrassing if I fall asleep).
What can we do to make the graduation ceremony meaningful to the students,
the parents and the teachers?
Thanks,
