At our 8th grade graduation, the students put together, with the aid of
their teacher/mentor, a review of their eight years through poetry. They
recall (year by year) meaningful and funny moments, teachers that they had
and their impact and students who are no longer in the school. We also do
a siyum with classes that finished learning a sefer in Tanach or a perek
in Gemara.
