1985). It has an excellent presentation of ideas, sources, and educational
ideas. Depending on the level of the students and the culture of the
school you might want to begin with a discussion of the mahloket between
Ramban and Rambam on whether Korbanot have intrinsic value or not, which
related to the broader question of whether to seek symbolic meaning in the
