Rabbi Hammer,
Thank you for your reply.
What kinds of Jewish law distinctions between Jew and Gentile do you think are permissible? Pedagogically proper? Mandatory?
I see a few categories and I am interested in your view of which halachic Jews should observe now. It does not seem reasonable that the prohibition against intermarriage should have no rabbinic penumbra at all. Important mitzvot have gedarim and harchakot.
Could you give me a few examples of prohibitions we should observe in your view so I can understand?
[Yainam meshum benotam should be one that you do not object to as a matter of ideology, yet you affirm that observing the prohibition of stam yayin is wrong (when you could have just been silent about the issue.)]
Thank you so much for spending your time explaining your view.
